- Applicant must be studying in a government educational institution.
- Must have secured 50 percent or more marks in the last final examination.
- General, Scheduled, and OBC all can apply for this scholarship.
- Both male and female students are eligible to apply.

Which scholarship is applicable for which classes?
- Students from 1st to 10th standard will apply for Pre Matric Scholarship.
- Students from Class XI to Ph.D. level will apply for Post Matric Scholarship.
Application Process:-
- There are several categories of National Scholarships like- The central category, State quota, AICTE scheme, and UGC this scholarship is awarded to the students.
- To apply for this scholarship first visit the official website of the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) and click on New Registration. Register Now with your Mobile Number, Date of Birth, Aadhaar Number, and Bank Account Details.
- Then generate the user id and password and log in. Now fill out the online application form properly along with the required documents. Scan the required documents in the specified format. Finally, submission of the application will complete the application process.
What documents are required?
- Identity Card (Aadhaar Card).
- Birth certificate.
- Passport size color photo.
- Marksheet of last annual examination.
- New course admission slip.
- Proof of residence.
- Annual Family Income Certificate.
- Cast Certificate (if any).
- Bank Account Details.
Important Dates:-
The application process for this scholarship starts in September of the fee year and the application process lasts for 3-4 months. Scholarship amount and income limit vary in different courses.
