Responsibilities:
- Offer individual counseling support to students on a range of personal and academic challenges.
- Be a point of contact for students seeking interpersonal or emotional guidance.
- Develop and deliver workshops, talks, and group discussions to promote student well-being.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to foster a supportive campus environment.
- Maintain confidentiality while reporting extreme cases to designated authorities.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Psychology or Counseling Psychology.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, or Education (preferred).
- At least 1 year of experience counseling adolescents and young adults, ideally in a college setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze institutional needs and develop effective strategies.
- Sensitivity to diverse backgrounds and experiences.
- RCI License (optional, but a plus).
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends (as needed).
