Vande Bharat Express (NJP): The high-speed Vande Bharat Express/ 22301 –T18 –ER train reached Howrah on Sunday. This train will start its first journey in the state on December 30. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to inaugurate it. This fast express will run from Howrah to New Jalpaiguri station.
Although this train is the first in the state, it is the sixth Vande Bharat Express across the country. It is currently in the sorting yard at Liluah.

Between Howrah and New Jalpaiguri the time the half will be of around 3 minutes.
After a one-hour stopover, this train will leave the North Bengal station at 2:30 pm and reach Howrah at 10 pm.
