করোনায় বাবা অথবা মা-কে হারালে পড়ুয়ার সেমেস্টার ফি মকুবের সিদ্ধান্ত MAKAUT-এর
করোনাকালে মানবিক সিদ্ধান্ত নিল মওলানা আবুল কালাম আজাদ প্রযুক্তি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় (Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology) MAKAUT । কর্তৃপক্ষ জানিয়েছে, যে সমস্ত ছাত্রছাত্রী করোনায় বাবা অথবা মা-কে হারিয়েছে তাদের সেমেস্টার ফি নেবে না বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়। বুধবার একথা ঘোষণা করেন বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের রেজিস্ট্রার পার্থপ্রতীম লাহিড়ী।

রেজিস্ট্রার পার্থপ্রতীম লাহিড়ী জানিয়েছেন,
কোনও ছাত্র যে অভিভাবকের ওপর নির্ভরশীল করোনায় তাঁর মৃত্যু হলে ছাত্রের সেমেস্টার ফি মকুব করবে বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়(MAKAUT)। কোনও ছাত্র বাবা বা মা যার ওপরেই নির্ভরশীল হোক না কেন, করোনায় সেই অভিভাবকের মৃত্যু হলে দিতে হবে না সেমেস্টারের টাকা।
এজন্য বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের অধীনস্থ কলেজের অধ্যক্ষদের যোগাযোগ করতে হবে রেজিস্ট্রারের সঙ্গে। পড়ুয়ার সেমেস্টার ফি মকুবের জন্য আবেদন করতে হবে। বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় মঞ্জুরি দিলে তবে সেমেস্টার ফিতে ছাড় পাবেন সেই পড়ুয়া।
করোনায় অভিভাবকদের হারিয়ে অনিশ্চিত অনেকের উচ্চশিক্ষা। এই অবস্থায় মাকাউটের সিদ্ধান্ত সময়োচিত ও মানবিক বলে মনে করছে ছাত্রছাত্রীরা।
Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology,MAKAUT. Authorities say the university will not charge semester fees for students who have lost a parent in Corona. University Registrar Parthapratim Lahiri announced this on Wednesday.
Registrar Parthapratim Lahiri said,
The University (MAKAUT) will waive the student’s semester fees if a student dies in the custody of a parent. No matter which parent the student is dependent on, if the parent dies in Corona, the semester money does not have to be paid.
For this, the principals of the colleges under the university have to contact the registrar. You have to apply for waiver of the semester fee. If the university allows, the student will get a discount on the semester fee.
The higher education of many uncertain is the loss of parents in Corona. In this situation, the students think that Macau’s decision is timely and humane.
