GATE 2023 Notification

GATE 2023 Notification has been released on July 27, 2022. The Organizing Institute usually releases GATE Notification on the last Sunday of July, however this year, IIT Kanpur has already released the notification on July 27, 2022 (Wednesday). GATE 2023 Notification has been released by IIT Kanpur, GATE 2023 Organising Institute, on the official website- gate.iitk.ac.in.

Educational Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree is a must from any University. In the same final year, students are also allowed to appear in the GATE exam. Proof of it is necessary for them to submit while they attend the 20923 counseling of GATE.

The best benefit here is no age limit or age restriction for the students. Therefore, candidates of any age can apply for the GATE 2023.

All of the questions will be worth 1 or 2 marks

Negative Marking

Two types of MCQs:

  • MCQs – 1 mark for each correct answer; 1/3 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.
  • MCQs – 2 marks for each correct answer; 2/3 marks will be deducted for every incorrect response. There are no negative marking for Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions
  • NO negative marking for MSQ & NAT.
