ISRO Job Vacancy 2023: Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has released a notification for the recruitment of Graduate and Technician Apprentices for the year 2022-23.
Indian Space Research Organization Headquarters (ISRO HQ), Bangalore invites applications for Apprenticeships for one-year training in the following Trades with B.E./B. Tech, Diploma in Engineering, and Diploma in Commercial Practice under the Apprentices.
Act 1961 and Amendment Act of 1973, from candidates who acquired a Degree / Diploma from any recognized University / Technical Board coming under the Southern Region of Board of Apprenticeship Training (Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Puducherry) for the training year 2022-23.

Graduate Apprentices –
Pass in First Class B.E/B.Tech in the respective field with not less than 60% marks/ 6.32 CGPA.
Technician Apprentices –
Pass in First Class Diploma in Engg. in the respective field with not less than 60% marks / 6.32 CGPA.
Diploma in Commercial Practice –
Pass in Diploma in Commercial Practice with not less than 60% marks / 6.32 CGPA awarded by a recognized Board.

Eligibility Criteria:
What are the eligibility criteria for the application of ISRO –in detail below;
Only Indian nationals need to apply.
Candidates who have completed three years after acquiring the prescribed qualification are not eligible for apprenticeship training (i.e. candidates who have passed Degree / Diploma in relevant field during or after January 2020 are only eligible to apply). Further, candidates who are positioned/waitlisted for engagement, will not be considered for training, if they cross the three years’ time limit, at the time of issue of offer.
Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing Apprenticeship training under Apprentices Act, 1961 and Amendment Act 1973 or having one year or more experience from any institutions are not eligible to apply.
Candidates who have completed the qualifying examination as regular candidates are only eligible to apply
The period of training will be 12 months commencing from the execution of the contract of Apprenticeship.
Selected candidates must execute a contract of Apprenticeship training as per the provision of the Apprentices Act, 1961 and Amendment Act of 1973
Selected candidates have to submit the “Medical Fitness Certificate” at the time of joining.
Courses should be recognized by Indian Universities / State Boards
The candidates who have passed sandwich courses, obtained private degree, short term/certificate courses, etc or candidates pursuing higher studies (Example: B.E./B.Tech. in case of Diploma holders & M.E./M.Tech in case of Graduates, etc.,) are not acceptable.
No interim Correspondence will be entertained. Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification
