বাংলার কৃষকদের ফসল নষ্ট হয়ে গেলে তাদের আর্থিক সমস্যা থেকে মুক্তি দেওয়ার জন্য, পশ্চিমবঙ্গ রাজ্য সরকার  বাংলা শস্য বীমা যোজনা নামে একটা প্রকল্প চালু করেছে। এই প্রকল্পের আওতায় সরকার কৃষকদের ফসলের প্রিমিয়াম প্রদান করবে। কোন প্রাকৃতিক বিপর্যয় এবং অন্যান্য কারণে কৃষকের ফসল নষ্ট হয়ে গেলে তার ক্ষতিপূরণের উদ্দেশ্যে এই বীমার প্রচলন করেছে সরকার।

এই প্রকল্পের আওতায় কৃষকদের বিশেষ করে চলতি মরসুমের ফসলের জন্য শস্য বীমা কভারেজ সরবরাহ করা হবে যাতে তাদের আর্থিক সঙ্কট সহ্য করতে না হয়।  রাজ্যের কৃষকদের উপর ভার কমাতে এই বিমার জন্য প্রিমিয়ামের পরিমাণ সরকার প্রদান করবে |

Benefits of West Bengal Bangla Shasya Bima Yojana 2021 scheme

১) রবি মরসুমে বোরো ধান, গম, মুসুর, সরিষা, তিল, চীনাবাদাম- এই শস্যগুলি বীমার প্রিমিয়ামের সম্পূর্ণ অর্থ পশ্চিমবঙ্গ সরকার পরিবহন করছে বা করে থাকে।

২) কেসিসি (Kisan Credit Card) থাকলে লোন এবং শস্য বীমা দুটির জন্য আবেদন করতে সহজ হবে। তবে নতুন নির্দেশিকা অনুসারে কেসিসি না থাকলেও এই বীমা আবেদন করা যাবে।

৩) শুধুমাত্র আলু এবং আখ এই দুটি বাণিজ্যিক ফসলের জন্য কৃষককে সর্বাধিক ৪.৯৫% প্রিমিয়াম জমা দিতে হবে। অবশিষ্ট প্রিমিয়াম রাজ্য সরকার বহন করবে।

১) পশ্চিমবঙ্গের কৃষককে স্থায়ী বাসিন্দা হতে হবে।

২) জমির মালিক/ভাগচাষী সকলে বাংলা শস্য বিমা প্রকল্পের সুবিধা পেতে পারেন বলে ঘোষণা করেন রাজ্য সরকার।

৩) আবেদনকারীর ফসলের ক্ষতির সম্মুখীন হলে কেবল বীমা সুবিধা পাবেন |
