State Bank of India Recruitment 2025: State Bank of India (SBI), Indiaโ€™s largest public sector bank, has invited online applications from eligible Indian citizens for appointment to Specialist Cadre Officer posts on a contractual basis. Vacancy Details (State Bank of India Recruitment 2025)

(A) General Manager (IS Audit) โ€“ Contractual Post

  • Vacancies: 01 (UR)
  • Age Limit (as on 30.06.2025): 45โ€“55 years
  • Annual CTC Range: Up to โ‚น1.00 crore
  • Place of Posting: Hyderabad
  • Contract Period: 5 years
  • Selection Procedure: Shortlisting & Interview followed by CTC Negotiation

(B) Assistant Vice President (IS Audit) โ€“ Contractual Post

  • Vacancies: 14 (UR-7, OBC-3, SC-2, ST-1, EWS-1)
  • Age Limit (as on 30.06.2025): 33โ€“45 years
  • Annual CTC Range: Up to โ‚น44 lakhs
  • Place of Posting: Mumbai (1 year), followed by mobile duty at different centers
  • Contract Period: 3 years
  • Selection Procedure: Shortlisting & Interview followed by CTC Negotiation

Educational Qualification & Experience

  • For General Manager & AVP (IS Audit): A strong academic background in Information Systems Audit / Cyber Security / IT Risk Management and related disciplines is expected.
  • Minimum relevant experience in a senior audit or cyber/information systems security role in banks, financial institutions, or consulting firms.

  3. Register with valid credentials and fill the application form.
  4. Upload the necessary documents (resume, certificates, proof of age/experience).
  5. Pay the required application fee through the provided payment gateway.
  6. Submit the final form before 31st July 2025.

SELECTION PROCESS:

The selection will be based on Shortlisting and Interview. Thereafter, for contractual post, CTC negotiations will be
held.
Shortlisting: Mere fulfilling minimum qualification and experience will not vest any right in candidate for being called for interview. The shortlisting committee constituted by the Bank will decide the shortlisting parameters and thereafter, adequate number of candidates, as decided by the Bank, will be shortlisted for interview. The decision of the Bank to call the candidates for the interview shall be final. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard. The shortlisted candidates will be called for interview.

Interview: Interview will carry 100 marks. The qualifying marks in interview will be decided by the Bank. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard.

CTC Negotiation: For the Post of GM (IS AUDIT), CTC negotiation will be done with the candidates in the order of Merit one by one
(i.e., In case the selected candidate does not agree with the negotiated price, the name of the candidate shall be considered as Voluntary
Exit from the recruitment exercise and next candidate in the merit list shall be called for negotiation). For the post of AVP (IS Audit) CTC Negotiation will be done with the candidates at the time of interview only.

Merit list: Merit list for selection will be prepared in descending order on the basis of scores obtained in interview only. In case more than one candidate scores the cut-off marks (common marks at cut-off point), such candidates will be ranked according to their age in descending order, in the merit list
