South East Eastern Railway Recruitment 2023: South East Eastern Railway, Personnel Department, Divisional Railway Manager Office, Bilaspur has released a notification for the recruitment of Apprentices.
Engagement of Act Apprentices in South East Central Railway, Bilaspur Division for the year 2023-24 under Apprentices Act 1961 and Apprenticeship Rules 1962.
The various trades are –Carpenter, COPA, DRAFTSMAN (CIVIL), ELECTRICIAN, ELECTRONIC (MECH), FITTER MACHINIST, PAINTER, PLUMBER, MECHANIC (Refrigeration & Air Conditioning), SHEET METAL WORK, STENO (ENG), STENO (HINDI), TURNER, WELDER, WIREMAN, GAS CUTTER, DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHER, etc.
Educational Qualification:
Must have passed the 10th class examination under the 10+2 system or its equivalent.
Must have passed ITI courses in relevant trades from a recognized institution.
Age Limit:
The candidate should have completed 15 years of age and should NOT have completed 24 years of age as of 01.07.2023. The upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST candidates, 03 years for OBC, and 10 years for Ex-servicemen and PWD.
The period of apprenticeship and stipend:
Selected candidates will be engaged as apprentices and they will undergo apprenticeship training for a period of 1 year for each trade. They will be paid a stipend during their training as per the rules of the State Government of Chandigarh. Their training will be terminated after the completion of their apprenticeship.
Eligibility criteria for preparing merit list in the selection:
The following criteria in prescribed for preparation of merit in the selection –Taking the average of the % age marks obtained by the candidates in both Matriculation with minimum 50% (aggregate) marks and ITI examination giving equal weightage to both.
Candidates must field their 10th & ITI marks on the portal in the qualification section, otherwise, their application will be automatically rejected. No filled any other higher qualification.
Contract:
The selected candidates or, if he is a minor, his guardian has been enter into a contract of apprenticeship with the employer.
