Educational Qualification
Candidates must have one of the following educational/technical qualifications as of the closing date of application:
- Matriculation/SSLC + ITI from recognized institutions of NCVT/SCVT in relevant trades
- OR Matriculation/SSLC + Course Completed Act Apprenticeship
- OR 10+2 (with Physics and Maths) for some specific RRBs
- OR Diploma in Engineering in relevant disciplines (for certain RRBs as per Annexure A)

- Nationality: Indian
- Age Limit: 18 to 30 years (as of 01 July 2025)

Selection Process
The selection process will be conducted in the following stages:
- CBT 1 (Computer Based Test – Screening)
- CBT 2 (Main Written Exam)
- Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT) – Only for ALP post
- Document Verification
- Medical Examination (A-1 Standard)
Only those who qualify all stages and meet medical fitness criteria will be appointed.
