According to the information given to SEBI, Mukesh Ambani has resigned from the post of director of Reliance Jio on June 27, 2022.

Akash Ambani, the new chairman of Reliance Jio, has previously been a non-executive director in the company. Jio has acquired several companies in the digital sector in recent years. Akash Ambani has played an important role in this.

At the same time, he was also closely involved in the development of new technologies. These include AI-ML and Blockchain. He was also instrumental in creating a digital ecosystem connected to Jio’s 4G technology.
