Purpose of the Role:
The selected candidates will coordinate, support, and advise departments on all matters related to health and safety, ensuring adherence to statutory requirements and best practices to foster a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct and advise on safety audits, job safety analyses, and risk assessments.
- Investigate incidents and recommend corrective measures.
- Advise on the procurement and use of personal protective equipment.
- Promote and support the establishment of Safety Committees.
- Conduct training and educational programs on workplace safety.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory safety regulations.
- Handle fire emergencies and incident investigations effectively.
Qualifications for JSW Steel Limited Recruitment:
- Educational Qualification:
- Engineering Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical disciplines.
- Post Diploma in Industrial Safety from RLI/CLI/Government recognized institute (Mandatory).
- Experience:
- 3 to 10 years of relevant experience in safety and fire services.
Age Limit:
- Applicants must be between 25 to 40 years of age as of 1st January 2025.
Salary Package for JSW Steel Limited Recruitment:
- Salary Range: ₹8,00,000 – ₹18,00,000 per annum
(Salary will be based on qualifications, experience, and performance in the selection process.)
Key Competencies Required:
- Strong knowledge of accident investigation and safety legal requirements.
- Expertise in public speaking and employee safety training.
- Excellent communication, observation, planning, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and safety documentation.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively under dynamic conditions.
