✅ Eligibility Criteria for Indian Railways Recruitment
Educational Qualifications:
Candidates must hold a degree in Engineering, Finance, or relevant discipline as per the post. Senior managerial posts require long-standing experience in the corresponding services such as:
- IRSE (Indian Railway Service of Engineers)
- IRTS (Indian Railway Traffic Service)
- IRAS (Indian Railway Accounts Service)
Experience:
- Must be an officer in analogous grade or one grade below with required years of service.
- Specific experience in civil works, project management, traffic planning, or finance depending on the role.
🎯 Age Limit
- The maximum age for deputation should not exceed 55 years, unless otherwise specified.
- For certain posts, the age criteria will follow DOPT guidelines for deputation.

- Salaries will be drawn from the parent cadre.
- Deputation allowance as per Government of India norms.
