IIM Kashipur Recruitment 2025: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kashipur has released an official notification (Advt. No. AA-09/2025, dated 18.09.2025) inviting candidates for walk-in interviews for the posts of Administrative Trainee and Administrative Associate (Library). The recruitment is being conducted on a contract basis.
Job Responsibilities
The selected candidates will:
- Assist the Librarian in offering library and information services.
- Handle cataloguing, classification, and technical processing of resources.
- Manage circulation counters (membership, reminders, overdue charges, etc.).
- Provide assistance in online/offline databases and research queries.
- Help users access library resources.
- Maintain inventory, registers, and statistical records.
- Monitor and upkeep the library infrastructure.

- Administrative Trainee
- Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor of Library and Information Science (B.Lib.Sc) or equivalent with good academic records and relevant experience.
- Stipend: ₹24,500 – ₹29,500 per month (+ annual increment of ₹2,000 in case of re-engagement).
- Administrative Associate
- Educational Qualification:
- Master of Library and Information Science (M.Lib.Sc) or equivalent with minimum 3 years of relevant administrative/library experience in an academic institution of repute.
- Stipend: ₹40,000 – ₹45,000 per month (+ annual increment of ₹3,000 in case of re-engagement).
Age Limit
- Candidates should preferably be below 45 years of age.
Duration of Appointment
- Engagement will be purely on contract basis for one year (from the date of joining), extendable annually based on performance.
- The total contract period is limited to three years.
