কিভাবে বুঝবেন যে ঔষধ (Medicine) খাচ্ছেন সেটার মেয়াদ আছে কি নেই?

Medicine: দোকান থেকে ঔষধ কেনার সময় হয় সম্পূর্ণ স্ট্রিপ বা ঔষধের পাতা কিনছেন বা দোকানদার পূর্ণ স্ট্রিপ থেকে কেটে কয়েকটি দিচ্ছেন, পূর্ণ স্ট্রিপ কিনলে কেনার আগে কিছু জিনিস খেয়াল করুন বা যে স্ট্রিপ থেকে কেটে দিচ্ছে, কাটার আগে দোকানদারের হাত থেকে নিয়ে চেক করুন, ঔষধের স্ট্রিপ এর গায়ে উপরে বা নিচের অংশে স্পষ্ট কিছু ইংরেজি সংখ্যা এবং অক্ষরে ওই ঔষধের মেয়াদ উত্তীর্ণের সময় কাল লেখা আছে।
লাল তীর চিহ্ন দিয়ে ইংরেজি “E” অক্ষরের পাশে মেয়াদ উত্তীর্ণের মাস এবং বছর দেয়া থাকে, এখানে “E” তে Expire বুঝানো হয়েছে, প্রথম দুটো সংখ্যা মাস কে বুঝায়, পরের দুটো সংখ্যা বছর বুঝায়, যেমন : E0221, মানে হলো এই ঔষধের মেয়াদ ২০২১ এর ফেব্রুয়ারী মাস পর্যন্ত। এইভাবে সব ঔষধের গায়ে মেয়াদ উত্তীর্ণের দিকনির্দেশনা পাবেন, কেনার আগে দেখে কিনবেন।
