Hindustan Copper Limited Recruitment 2026: Hindustan Copper Limited (HCL), a Miniratna Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Government of India, has released an official recruitment notification for Workmen posts at Khetri Copper Complex (KCC), Rajasthan. The company is inviting online applications from eligible Indian nationals for a total of 18 vacancies across multiple technical and operational roles.

This recruitment drive aims to strengthen manpower at Khetri Copper Complex, one of HCL’s major mining units.

HCL has announced 18 total vacancies for the following posts at Khetri Copper Complex:

• Chargeman (Electrical) – 4 posts
• Electrician ‘A’ – 2 posts
• Electrician ‘B’ – 3 posts
• WED ‘B’ (Winding Engine Driver) – 4 posts
• WED ‘C’ (Winding Engine Driver) – 5 posts

These include backlog vacancies for Chargeman (Electrical), Electrician ‘A’, Electrician ‘B’, and one SC post under WED ‘B’.

Pay Scale Details

Selected candidates will be placed in the following industrial pay scales:

• Chargeman (Electrical): ₹28,740 – ₹72,110
• Electrician ‘A’: ₹28,430 – ₹59,700
• Electrician ‘B’: ₹28,280 – ₹57,640
• WED ‘B’: ₹28,280 – ₹57,640
• WED ‘C’: ₹28,120 – ₹55,620

In addition to basic pay, employees will receive industrial dearness allowance, perks, annual ex gratia, leave benefits, provident fund, gratuity, NPS, and free medical treatment for self and family.

Educational Qualification and Experience (Highlights)

HCL has prescribed different qualification routes for each post. Key highlights include:

• Chargeman (Electrical):
  Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 1 year of supervisory experience in mining installations
  OR ITI (Electrical) with 3 years’ experience
  OR Class 10 with 5 years’ experience
  (Mandatory Supervisory Certificate of Competency)
• Electrician ‘A’:
  ITI (Electrical) with 4 years’ experience
  OR Class 10 with 7 years’ experience
  (Valid Wireman Permit required)
• Electrician ‘B’:
  ITI (Electrical) with 3 years’ experience
  OR Class 10 with 6 years’ experience
  (Valid Wireman Permit required)
• WED ‘B’ and WED ‘C’:
  Diploma / Graduate / Apprenticeship / Class 10 with varying years of experience
  (Valid Winding Engine Driver’s Certificate required)

Experience is counted only after acquiring the required statutory certificate. Apprenticeship and training during academic courses will not be treated as experience.

Selection Process

The selection process consists of two stages:

1. Written Test (100 marks)
   • Subject Knowledge: 80 marks
   • General Knowledge: 20 marks

Candidates must secure minimum qualifying marks in the written test to be called for the second stage. Final merit will be prepared based only on written test marks.
