Educational Qualification & Experience
- Retired officials from Central/State Governments, PSUs, Autonomous Bodies, Universities, Govt. R&D Organisations.
- Practical knowledge and experience in administrative/secretarial work, preferably in Government of India.
- Preference will be given to those with experience in DRDO.
- Must have effective oral & written communication skills, knowledge of recruitment rules, legal matters, personnel matters, and be proficient in record management.
- Should be comfortable in a computerized office environment.
Age Limit
- Maximum age: 63 years as on closing date of application.
Salary & Allowances
- For Pensioners: Monthly remuneration = Last Pay Drawn – Basic Pension + ₹3,000/- conveyance allowance.
- For Non-Pensioners: ₹50,000/- fixed monthly remuneration + ₹3,000/- conveyance allowance.
- For NPS Retirees: Remuneration = Last Basic Pay – 30% of Last Basic Pay + ₹3,000/- conveyance allowance.
- No additional allowances like DA, HRA, or medical benefits.
Job Responsibilities
The Consultant will assist RAC in:
- Administrative & secretarial support for recruitment and assessment activities.
- Drafting notes, proposals, and official correspondence.
- Handling legal and personnel matters.
- Scrutiny and verification of candidate applications.
- Coordinating meetings and events related to recruitment.
- Record and file management.
- Liaison with government offices like DOP&T, MOD, DCDA, etc.
