DRDO ITI Apprentices Recruitment 2025: ARMAMENT RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT ESTABLISHMENT, MINISTRY OF DEFENCE, GOVERNMENT OF INDIA Dr. HOMI BHABHA MARG, PASHAN, PUNE, MAHARASHTRA – 411021, Defence Research & Development Organization (DRDO), has released a notification for the recruitment of 13 Trade (ITI) Apprentices.
ARMAMENT RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT ESTABLISHMENT (ARDE) invites Online Application from eligible ITI holders, for undergoing 12 months Apprenticeship training under the Apprenticeship Act 1961 and ammended from time to time.
Candidates seeking apprenticeship training should register through the following web portals: www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in. The advertisement for portal entry for the below mentioned apprenticeship will be open from 04th – 20th Apr 2025.

- Turner
- Welder
- Carpenter
- Draftsmen Mechanical
Educational Qualification for DRDO ITI Apprentices Recruitment:
ITI (full time course) in the respective discipline from a Indian Intistute recognised by State/ Government of India.
Age Limit:
18-30 years as on 01.04.2025. Relaxation to reserved category candidates as per guidelines in this regard.
RESERVATION OF VACANCIES:
Guidelines under the Apprentices Act on resevation for SC/ST/OBC will be followed. Candidates claiming reservation under SC/ST/OBC/PwD needs to provide necessary certificate as per the standard format prescribed by the Government.
DURATION OF TRAINING for DRDO ITI Apprentices Recruitment:
The duration of Apprenticeship training will be for a period of 12 months as per Apprentices Act, 1961. Examination and Completion Certificate will be issued only to pass candidates after 12 months from date of selection.
PREVIOUS TRAINING EXPERIENCE:
Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing apprenticeship under Apprenticeship Act 1961, and/or already having one year of experience are not eligible to apply.
SELECTION PROCEDURE for DRDO ITI Apprentices Recruitment:
Selection will be based on the marks obtained in the respective discipline qualifying examination. Post screening of the online application, shortlisted candidates will be intimated through mail / phone call to appear for trade test.
Engagement for apprenticeship training will be subject to the selected candidates clearing the medical examination and Police Verification.
Furnishing of incomplete/incorrect/misleading/illegible documents, information or any other invalid data/inputs may result in the rejection of application and appeal for reconsideration will not be entertained.
PROCEDURE FOR REGISTRATION AND SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION:
Candidates need to register themselves on apprenticeship portal www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in. After registration they should apply for apprenticeship in their own trade. Please note that registration on government portal is necessary.
BOARDING / LODGING:
No boarding or lodging expenses are admissible. However selected candidates can obtain lunch, tea, snacks etc on payment basis at ARDE canteen.
