DRDO DIBT New Vacancy 2025: Defence Institute of Biodefence Technologies (IBT) Siddartha Nagar, Mysore, has released a notification for the engagement of Apprenticeship Training at DIBT, Mysore.
Under the provisions of The Apprentices Act, 1961, Centre Head, DEFENCE INSTITUTE OF BIODEFENCE TECHNOLOGIES (DIBT), Mysore invites applications from eligible candidates for Diploma and ITI Apprenticeship Training for the Year 2025-26 as per the details given below.

Engineering Stream:
- Diploma Apprentice : Rs. 8000/- per month
- ITI Apprentice : Rs. 7000/- per month

Selection Process:
What are the selection procedure for the engagement of DIBT-DRDO –in detail below;
Diploma Apprentice Trainees /ITI Apprentice Trainees : Depending upon the vacancies available in various disciplines, selection of candidates will be carried out by shortlisting on the basis of Academic Merit subjects to satisfactory verification of the documents.
Medical Fitness:
The candidate should possess satisfactory health. Candidates finally selected will have to produce Fitness Certificate issued by authorized medical officer of any Government Hospital as per DIBT specified format during joining time. Certificate issued by ESIC Hospitals will NOT be accepted. Final selection of the candidate depends upon his/her fulfilling health standards as prescribed in Apprentices Act, 1961 and Apprenticeship Rules 1992 as amended from time to time.

All applicants are required to bring original certificates along with the printout of the application from along with one set of photocopies (self-attested) of the following documents during document verification /joining: –
- 10th Mark Sheet and Certificate
- Diploma / ITI Mark sheets for all semester / year wise
- Caste Certificate (if applicable)
- PWD Certificate (if applicable)
- Photo ID card issued by Govt. of India (Preferably Aadhaar Card)
