This role offers a tenure of five years, extendable by up to two years based on organizational requirements and individual performance.

Educational Qualification
- MBBS degree from a recognized University/Institution approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC)/Medical Council of India (MCI).
- Candidates should have at least a Pass Class in their MBBS degree.
- Possession of an Associate Fellowship in Industrial Health (AFIH) from Maharashtra is preferred. If not already acquired, the selected candidate must obtain the AFIH qualification within one year of joining.
Age Limit
- Upper Age Limit: 30 years as of May 1, 2025.
- Age Relaxation:
- PwBD Candidates: 10 years (with a minimum of 40% disability and a valid certificate).
- Ex-Servicemen: As per Government of India guidelines.
- OBC/SC/ST Candidates: No relaxation applicable for this unreserved post.
Eligibility Criteria for BEL New Recruitment
- Must be an Indian citizen.
- Should possess a valid registration certificate from the NMC/MCI/State Medical Council or any other authority notified by the Government of India.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant post-qualification experience as of May 1, 2025.
- Note: Academic or teaching experience will not be considered.
Remuneration
- Pay Scale: ₹40,000 – 3% – ₹1,40,000.
- Total CTC: Approximately ₹12.46 lakhs per annum.

Job Responsibilities
The selected Medical Officer will be responsible for:
- Providing medical services to employees within the factory premises.
- Processing and verifying medical bills.
- Administering the Contributory Medical Assistance (CMA) Scheme.
- Monitoring the BERECHS Scheme.
- Scrutinizing and processing bills in SAP.
- Liaising with panel hospitals and factory authorities on health-related matters.
- Conducting annual medical check-ups as per Maharashtra Factories Rules.
- Coordinating preventive health check-ups for employees.
- Providing medical consultations for dependents in the BEL Township.
- Managing medicine dispensation and liaising with empaneled pharmacies.
- Conducting health awareness sessions.
- Maintaining medical records for OPD and IPD services.
- Ensuring services provided by hospitals and agencies align with agreed terms.
- Performing any other duties assigned by the management.
Selection Procedure
- Written Test: Candidates will first undergo a written examination.
- Interview: Those who qualify in the written test will be shortlisted for an interview in a ratio of 1:7.
- Final Selection: Based on performance in both the written test and interview.
