পশ্চিমবঙ্গ সংখ্যালঘু উন্নয়ন ও অর্থ নিগম পশ্চিমবঙ্গের সংখ্যালঘু সম্প্রদায়ের ছাত্রদের জন্য একটি বৃত্তি প্রকল্প শুরু করেছে। এই বৃত্তি প্রকল্পের অধীনে কলেজ এবং স্কুল উভয় স্তরেই যোগ্য শিক্ষার্থীদের আর্থিক সহায়তা প্রদান করা হয়। এই বৃত্তি প্রকল্পের মাধ্যমে, সরকার সংখ্যালঘু শিক্ষার্থীদের সামাজিক-অর্থনৈতিক সুবিধা এবং শিক্ষার সুযোগ প্রদান করে।
এই বৃত্তি প্রকল্পটি পশ্চিমবঙ্গের শিক্ষার্থীদের জন্য এক প্রকার এন্ড টু এন্ড স্কলারশিপ। এই বৃত্তির মাধ্যমে শিক্ষার্থীরা প্রথম শ্রেণি থেকে পিএইচডি স্তর পর্যন্ত আর্থিক সহায়তা পেতে পারে। এটি উল্লেখ্য যে শুধুমাত্র সংখ্যালঘু সম্প্রদায়ের ছাত্ররাই প্রকল্পের জন্য আবেদন করতে পারে। সংখ্যালঘু সম্প্রদায় হল মুসলিম, খ্রিস্টান, শিখ, বৌদ্ধ, পার্সি ও জৈন।
