BHEL has acknowledged the concerns about alleged irregularities during the Computer-Based Test (CBT) for the Supervisor Trainee position in the Mechanical discipline. Following a detailed investigation by EdCIL (India) Limited, the authorized agency conducting the exam, it has been confirmed that:
- The irregularities were confined exclusively to one examination centre:
- Xeon Technologies Examination Centre, Vizag City
- The issue only pertained to the Mechanical discipline for Supervisor Trainee.
- No evidence of malpractice was found in any other examination centres, cities, or disciplines across India.
🛑 Decision by BHEL
In light of the findings, BHEL has taken the strict decision to annul the examination conducted at the affected centre for the Supervisor Trainee (Mechanical) post.
- Only the exam conducted at the Vizag centre has been annulled.
- BHEL has assured that a re-examination will be held for the impacted candidates.
- Affected individuals will be informed separately with individual notifications regarding:
