The University of Calcutta, Department of Home Science, has opened applications for the position of Research Assistant for the year 2025. The opportunity is part of an ICSSR Minor Research Project (2024-25) titled “Demographic variables and Workplace Environment: A study on Occupational Stress of Women Handloom Weavers in West Bengal.” The project will be supervised by Dr. Debomita Sikdar, Project Director.
Essential Qualifications
- Postgraduate degree in Social Science disciplines (minimum 55% marks).
- Candidates with additional qualifications such as NET, M.Phil, or Ph.D. will be preferred.
