RRB CBT-II Exam Dates: The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have released a notice regarding the tentative schedule for the second stage Computer Based Test (CBT-II) for CEN No. 01/2024 (Assistant Loco Pilot) and CEN No. 03/2024 (Junior Engineer, Depot Material Superintendent, Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant, etc.).
According to the official notice released on February 18, 2025, the tentative exam dates for the CBT-II are as follows:
- CEN 01/2024 (Assistant Loco Pilot): March 19, 2025
- CEN 03/2024 (Various JE, DMS, CMA Posts): March 20, 2025

The results for the first stage CBT are currently under finalization, and the shortlisted candidates for the second stage will be announced shortly. The RRBs have advised candidates to keep an eye on the official websites for updates.
The notice also provides important information regarding the CBT-II process:
- Exam City & Date and Travel Authority: The link to view the exam city and date, as well as download the travel authority for SC/ST candidates, will be activated 10 days prior to the exam date on all RRB official websites.
- E-Call Letters: Candidates can download their e-call letters four days before the exam date indicated on the Exam City and Date intimation link.
- Aadhaar-Based Biometric Authentication: Aadhaar-linked biometric authentication will be mandatory at the exam center. Candidates must carry their original Aadhaar card or a printout of their e-verified Aadhaar. It is crucial to ensure the biometrics on the Aadhaar card are unlocked for verification before arriving at the exam center. Candidates who have not yet authenticated their identification through Aadhaar verification are advised to log in with their credentials at www.rrbapply.gov.in to facilitate a smooth entry into the examination center.
- Official Websites: Candidates are strongly advised to refer only to the official RRB websites for the latest and most accurate updates regarding the recruitment process. They should avoid relying on unauthenticated sources of information.
- Beware of Touts: The RRBs have cautioned candidates against touts who make false promises of jobs in exchange for illegal consideration. RRB selections are solely based on the merit of the candidates in the Computer Based Tests.
