What is PMAY-U 2.0?

Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana–Urban 2.0 is a big housing scheme started by the Government of India.
Its main goal is very simple: to help people in cities get a safe and affordable pucca house.

This new version is an improved form of the earlier PMAY-Urban scheme. It brings better support, wider coverage, and special care for poor and vulnerable families living in urban areas.
