WhatsApp’s new feature!: WhatsApp, the world’s largest chatting and media-sharing platform, has come up with a great feature for WhatsApp users. You can now send messages without internet service. This feature is available on both Android and iPhone phones.
WhatsApp CEO Will Cathcart announced the feature in a tweet.
Happy New Year!
While many of us celebrated by texting our loved ones on WA, there are millions of people in Iran and elsewhere who continue to be denied the right to communicate freely and privately.
So today we’re making it easier for anyone to connect to WA using a proxy. pic.twitter.com/qbx9FAqXP2

Simply put, if you ever get stuck with your phone in a place where internet services are banned or jammed, you can send messages through this WhatsApp proxy. WhatsApp can be accessed through proxy servers set up by volunteer organizations.
According to the organization,
people can use this feature anywhere in the world, but this feature is mainly brought to the people of Iran. For the past few months, protests have been going on in different parts of the country due to the anti-hijab movement in Iran. Internet services are closed at various places.
In such a situation, the government of that country banned WhatsApp. Keeping all these things in mind, WhatsApp has brought this feature. This WhatsApp proxy feature also ensures the security and privacy of users, the company said.
