ISRO Recruitment 2025: The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), under the Department of Space, has released Advertisement No. SAC:03:2025 (dated 22.09.2025) inviting applications for the post of Junior Translation Officer (JTO) in various ISRO Centres/Units and the Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST), an autonomous body under the Department of Space.

Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess:
- A Master’s Degree in Hindi/English with English/Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as a medium of examination at the degree level.
OR - Master’s Degree in any subject with Hindi/English as a compulsory subject or as medium of examination.
OR - Master’s Degree in any subject with Hindi and English as compulsory/elective subjects.
Additionally, candidates must have either:
- A Diploma/Certificate in Translation (Hindi to English and vice versa), OR
- 2 years of translation work experience in Central/State Government or PSU.
Age Limit
- 18 to 35 years as on 13.10.2025.
- Age relaxation is applicable as per Government of India rules for SC/ST, OBC, PwBD, Ex-Servicemen, Widows, and Divorced Women.
Pay Scale
- Pay Level-06 (₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400/- per month)
- Plus allowances like DA, HRA, Transport Allowance, NPS, Medical Facilities, LTC, Group Insurance, and Housing Loan benefits as per Central Government rules.
Selection Procedure for ISRO Recruitment
- Screening of Applications based on eligibility.
- Written Test (Objective + Descriptive, 100 Marks):
- General Hindi & General English
- Translation and essay writing.
- Duration: 2 hours.
- Minimum Qualifying Marks: 60%.
- Skill Test (Qualifying Only):
- Precis writing and translation (Hindi ↔ English).
- Duration: 2 hours.
- Minimum 60% required to qualify.
- Final Selection: Based on Written Test scores only (Skill Test is qualifying in nature).
Application Fee
- ₹750/- (for all candidates initially).
- Refund Rules:
- Women, SC, ST, PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen: Full refund.
- Others: ₹500 refunded (₹250 retained as processing fee).
- Refund is applicable only to candidates who appear in the written test.
