Intelligence Bureau Recruitment 2025: The Intelligence Bureau (IB), Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, has released a notification inviting online applications from Indian citizens for the post of Junior Intelligence Officer Grade-II/Tech (JIO-II/Tech). The recruitment is being conducted under the Junior Intelligence Officer Grade-II/Tech Examination 2025.

Pay Scale & Allowances

- Additional Allowances:
- Special Security Allowance: 20% of basic pay (over and above other allowances).
- Cash Compensation: In lieu of duty performed on holidays (subject to a ceiling of 30 days).
Educational Qualification
Candidates must have one of the following qualifications from a recognized University/Institute:
- Diploma in Engineering in fields of:
- Electronics or Electronics & Telecommunication or Electronics & Communication
- Electrical & Electronics
- Information Technology
- Computer Science
- Computer Engineering
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science with:
- Electronics, or Computer Science, or Physics, or Mathematics
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Applications
Age Limit
- Minimum: 18 years
- Maximum: 27 years
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- Departmental candidates with 3 years of regular service: up to 40 years (Central Govt. employees only, excluding PSUs/autonomous bodies).
- Widows, divorced women, women judicially separated (not remarried):
- Up to 35 years (UR), 38 years (OBC), 40 years (SC/ST).
- Ex-servicemen: As per Government rules.
- Meritorious sportspersons: Up to 32 years (with conditions as per DoPT guidelines).
