Duare Hospital: The Government of West Bengal has announced a new healthcare initiative, “Duare Hospital” (Hospital at Your Doorstep), aimed at providing free, accessible, and affordable medical services to every citizen. After the success of “Swasthya Sathi” and “Fair Price Medicine Shops”, this scheme has been introduced as a game changer in rural and semi-urban healthcare.

- Special Examinations for critical cases.
- Portable X-Ray and Ultrasound facilities available.
This initiative ensures that quality healthcare services will reach even the remotest villages of Bengal.
Eligibility Criteria for Recruitment
The Government will soon recruit Doctors, Nurses, Paramedics, and Technical Staff under this scheme.
- Educational Qualification
- Doctors: MBBS / equivalent medical degree (recognized by MCI).
- Nurses: B.Sc. Nursing / GNM from recognized institutes.
- Technicians: Diploma / Degree in Medical Lab Technology or related fields.
- Age Limit
- Doctors: Up to 40 years (relaxation for reserved categories).
- Nurses & Technicians: 21–35 years.
Salary Structure
- Doctors: ₹60,000 – ₹80,000 per month (depending on specialization).
- Nurses: ₹25,000 – ₹35,000 per month.
- Technicians & Support Staff: ₹18,000 – ₹25,000 per month.
