CVRDE DRDO Recruitment 2025: Combat Vehicles Research & Development Establishment (CVRDE) Government of India, Ministry of Defence Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) Avadi, Chennai – 600 054, has released a notification for the recruitment of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF).
CVRDE desires to engage young and meritorious Indian Nationals as Junior Research Fellows (JRF), who desire to pursue research in the areas related to AFV technologies.
Offline applications are invited, as per the format given in Annexure I, for selection of Junior Research Fellows (JRFs) in the following disciplines.

Documents to be enclosed:
Self-attested certificates / testimonials for Date of Birth, Essential and Higher qualifications along with mark sheets, and GATE score, caste certificate, etc. If any document/certificate furnished are in a language other than English, a duly self-attested transcript in English of the same is to be attached.
Candidates who are in regular service whether in permanent or temporary will be required to produce a “No Objection Certificate” (NOC) from the Cadre Controlling Authority/ present Employer at the time of Screening & Written Test (format enclosed).

Selection Process / Criteria:
- The short listed candidates on the basis of the B.E / B.Tech / M.E/ M.Tech marks will appear for written test at CVRDE, Avadi, Chennai – 600054.
- Candidates who do not qualify the Written test will not be considered for interview.
- In addition to the above, any other selection tool / test may be administered, at the sole discretion of the Director, CVRDE.
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending written test and interview or for joining, if selected.
- The decision of the committee constituted by Director, CVRDE in selecting the candidates will be final and binding on all the candidates.
Written Test and Interview at CVRDE, Avadi:
- Date, Time and venue of written test (objective type) and interview will be directly intimated to the shortlisted candidates via email only.
- Candidates are required to produce original certificates / testimonials at the time of interview.
- Written test (objective type) of all eligible candidates will be conducted after verification of certificate / testimonials.
- Candidates shortlisted from written test will be required to attend interview at CVRDE on the same day.
- The candidates must come prepared to overstay for a day or two to complete the process.
- Candidates should make their own arrangement for their stay and transport in Chennai.
