Bank of Baroda LBO Recruitment 2025: The Bank of Baroda (BOB), one of India’s premier public sector banks, has officially released the Recruitment Notification BOB/HRM/REC/ADVT/2025/05 for the appointment of Local Bank Officers on a regular basis. The recruitment aims to fill 2500 vacancies across various states including Goa, Gujarat, and Jammu & Kashmir.

Educational Qualification:

Mandatory:

• Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university/institute (including Integrated Dual Degree – IDD).

Also Eligible:

• Candidates with qualifications in Chartered Accountancy, Cost Accountancy, Engineering, or Medical disciplines.

Note: Degrees must be from institutions recognized by the Government of India or AICTE.

Work Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of post-qualification experience as an officer in a Scheduled Commercial Bank or Regional Rural Bank, specifically in:
  • Second Line responsibilities
  • NBFCs
  • Cooperative Banks
  • Payment Banks
  • Small Finance Banks

Experience in Clerical Cadre will not be considered.

Language Proficiency:

• Candidates must be proficient in the local language of the state applied for – including reading, writing, speaking, and understanding.

Salary Amount for Bank of Baroda LBO Recruitment 2025:

Pay Scale: ₹48,480 – ₹85,920

In-hand Salary: Approx. ₹73,000 – ₹85,000 per month

 Location of Posting:

The selected candidates will be posted within the State for which they apply for the first 12 years of their service or upto their promotion to SMGS-IV Grade, whichever is earlier. Thereafter,they are liable to be posted by the Bank at its absolute discretion to any of the Branches/ Offices of the Bank or to any place in India.

Fee structure:

• General/EWS/OBC: ₹850 + gateway charges

Selection Process:

The selection process comprises of online test, psychometric test or any other test deemed suitable for further selection process followed by Group Discussion and/or Interview of candidates, qualifying in the online test.

However, if the number of eligible applications received is large/less, then Bank reserves the right to change the shortlisting criteria/interview process. Bank may, at its discretion, consider conducting of Multiple Choice/Descriptive/ Psychometric Test / Group Discussion/Interviews or any other selection/shortlisting methodologies for the above position.

Merely satisfying the eligibility norms does not entitle a candidate to be called for interview. Bank reserves the right to call only the requisite number of candidates for the interview after preliminary screening/short-listing with reference to the candidate’s qualification, suitability, experience etc.

Important Notes:

• Employees who retired/resigned from officer grade or exited while on probation are not eligible.
• Experience less than 6 months or in clerical cadre will not be considered.
