Indian Navy Vacancy 2025: The Indian Navy is inviting applications for the 10+2 (B.Tech) Cadet Entry Scheme (Permanent Commission) for a four-year degree course at the prestigious Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, commencing January 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for young, unmarried male and female candidates to pursue a naval engineering career in both Executive and Technical branches.

Eligibility Criteria for Indian Navy Vacancy 2025:
What are the eligibility conditions for the engagement of Indian Navy โin detail below;
Educational Qualification:
Passed Senior Secondary Examination (10+2 Pattern) or its equivalent examination from any recognised Board with at least 70% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) and at least 50% marks in English (either in Class X or Class XII).
Who can Apply?
Candidates who have appeared for JEE (Main) – 2025 exam (for B.E/ B. Tech). Call up for Service Selection Board (SSB) will be issued on the basis of JEE (Main) All India Common Rank List (CRL) – 2025 published by NTA.
Medical Standards/ Relaxation in Height and Weight/ Tattoo:ย
All candidates recommended by SSB are required to undergo medical examination applicable to 10+2 (B Tech) entry. Guidelines for medical standards are available on the Indian Navy website www.joinindiannavy.gov.in. There is no relaxation in medical standards on any grounds. Change of medical hospital/centre is not permissible under any circumstances.
Selection procedure:
(a) Naval Headquarters reserves the right to fix the cut off for shortlisting of applications for SSB based on JEE (Main) All India Common Rank List (CRL) – 2025. All candidates are required to fill their Rank as per Common Rank List (CRL) in the application. SSB interviews for shortlisted candidates will be scheduled at Bangalore/ Bhopal/ Kolkata/ Visakhapatnam from Sep 2025 onwards.
(b) Shortlisted candidates will be informed about their selection for SSB interview through e-mail and SMS (provided by candidates in their application form). Candidates are advised not to change their e-mail/ mobile number till selection process is over.
(c) Change of SSB Centre for examination/ interview is not permissible under any circumstances.
(d) Candidates are to download the call up letter on receiving intimation from Naval Headquarters via SMS/email (provided by candidate in their application). Any correspondence regarding change of SSB dates should be addressed to the call up officer of the concerned SSB on receipt of call up letter.
(e) No compensation is admissible in case of any injury sustained as a result of tests during SSB interviews.
(f) AC 3 tier rail fare is admissible for the SSB interview, if appearing for the first time for particular type of commission. Candidates are required to bring photocopy of the first page of pass book or cheque leaf where the name, A/C No. & IFSC details are mentioned, while appearing for SSB.

Merit list for Indian Navy Vacancy 2025:
Merit list would be prepared based on SSB marks. Candidates declared fit in medical examination would be appointed subject to police verification and character verification & availability of vacancies in the entry.
Training: –
(a) Selected candidates will be inducted as Cadets for the four years B. Tech Course in Applied Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Electronics & Communication Engineering as per Naval requirements. On completion of the course, B. Tech Degree will be awarded by the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU). Distribution of cadets amongst Executive and Technical Branch (Engineering & Electrical) will be as per the extant policy.
(b) The entire cost of training, including books and reading material, will be borne by the Indian Navy. The cadets will also be provided with entitled clothing and messing.

Application Procedure for the Recruitment of Indian Navy (10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme 2025):
Candidates are to register and submit their application on the recruitment website www.joinindiannavy.gov.in. To save time during the application submission window, candidates can fill in their details and upload documents in advance under their user profile. The procedure for applying online is explained below.
(a) Online (e-application). Whilst filling up the e-application, it is advisable to keep the relevant documents readily available to enable the following:-
(i) Correct personal particulars details are to be filled up as given in the Matriculation Certificate/12th class certificate.
(ii) Fields such as e-mail address, mobile number are mandatory fields and need to be filled.
(b) All relevant documents (preferably in original), Date of Birth proof (as per 10th/12th certificates), 10th class marksheet, 12th class marksheet, JEE(Main)-2025 Score card {indicating Common Rank List (CRL)} and a recent passport size colour photograph should be scanned in original JPG/TIFF format, for attaching the same while filling up the application. Candidates are to take print out of application and carry it along with original certificates/ documents as mentioned in Para 10(b) while appearing for SSB interview.
(c) If any scanned document is not legible/ readable for any reason the application will be rejected.
(d) The application once submitted will be final and no request for amendments/change will be entertained.
